BELIN Joseph Pierre Lucien - known as Luc Belin 1878/1959

Born on March 5, 1878 in Villeneuve les Avignon -Gard. He took over the workshop of Eugène DAVID-GERIN at 2 rue Paradis Lyon 2 which now bears the name rue David-Girin.
Luc Belin also owned the painter's house in Pérouges
Enrollment at the National School of Fine Arts on November 5, 1894. Student of Paul Sain, Tollet and Bonnardel. Exhibited with the company Lyonnaise des Beaux Arts (SLBA) from 1913 to 1959.
- Excluded from the SLBA competition in 1924.
- Academic officer in 1926.
-Medaille of gold in 1926.
-Medaille of the living room in 1930.
-Price BERNHIN DE VILLERS at the Salon des artistes Français in Paris in 1932.
-Education officer in 1932.
-Memorial of the SLBA in 1932.
-Decided on December 26, 1959 in ALIX (Rhone).
-Interested in VILETTE D'ANTHON (Isère) where his family is native.
In 1936 he participated in the realization of the bas-relief of the Bourse du Travail in Lyon
Commissioned by a municipal commission chaired by Mr COHENDY 1
Deputy of the city of Lyon.
